2020 Season to Start with Bridge Fiasco

Dear Sailors,

I want update you on our 2020 racing reason.  Being without a club house is going to allow the Twenty Hundred Club to run most of our races this summer (we will later need to assess restrictions at Cuttyhunk and Block Island).  Since we don’t have a club house, skippers just need to make sure they comply with their Yacht Club or Marina restrictions.

Our first race is the new “Bridge Fiasco” on Sunday June 7.   Information about the race can be found on the club’s race page.  We also published an article in Windcheck Magazine on the origins of the race.  The race is a pursuit style start, so the start sequence for the slowest boat will be at 9:00 and all other boats will be assigned a later start time.

All skippers should be aware of restrictions at their marinas and clubs and comply with those as well as the guidelines issued by the DEM.   To help accommodate boats with limited crew sizes we will also score and award single handed and double handed boats.

The race is free for Twenty Hundred Club members,  and you must use seperate Bridge Fiasco registration here.  You may purchase the Membership  + 5 Race Package here.

Nick Bowen, Commodore
