Don’t forget to sign up for this Wednesday’s “Preparing for, and Winning, the Prince Henry Race” seminar, sponsored by our friends at Doyle. The event will be held on Wednesday, August 17th at 6:00 p.m. at the Doyle loft in Middletown, RI (23 Johnny Cake Hill).
Moose McClintock and Alex Clegg will present on topics such as (1) breaking down the sailing instructions, (2) preparing an overall strategy prior to the race, and (3) dealing with tactics as conditions change. They will also field questions from the audience. As this year’s regatta will host the Youth Keelboat Championship, the seminar will be an introduction to the new youth participants for the race, but will also serve as a refresher to the more regular participant.
Tickets are complimentary, but registration is required (https://twentyhundredclub.org/shop/home/78-2022-event.html). Pizza, beer, and soda will be available.
